Before renewing, I clearly stated that I might move soon and inquired about any potential issues or extra costs, or if the contract could be transferred to my flatmate. I was assured everything would be fine and that I could simply update the bank account details. After the renewal, I discovered there is an additional fee if I move—something that was never mentioned during the call. If I had been informed clearly, I would have chosen a shorter contract. I reached out to customer service, and while they confirmed my complaint was sent to the relevant department, I have yet to receive a resolution. I'm hopeful they will address this fairly, but the lack of transparency during the renewal process has been quite disappointing. I'm posting this to encourage the company to enhance communication and to alert others about potential fees before renewing a contract.
