(Instagram - @TR5_4rnr)Inspired Overland has been a martyr in breakthrough-innovation. They’ve done the things that not many have done in the overland industry. Let’s start with a few things that I’ve purchased from them and used:Their ultra lightweight roof top tent. The proof is in the name; that tent weighs 87lbs. I lifted it into my 4Runner by myself and fastened it down in minutes. It’s light, aesthetically pleasing and darn comfortable. Oh, and AFFORDABLE.Their upper controls arms - these things are legit. They allowed me to align my front wheels with perfect camber and caster. I was running a dobinsons set before and always ended up with -1 camber on each side. The CNC machining on these arms is incredible. Matte black and silver was a nice touch.Their adjustable coilover lift kit with remote reservoirs - AWESOME. I installed everything I’ve bought from them with basic hand tools in my driveway. Everything was straight forward. Now, getting the coilovers adjusted perfectly to the correct height was done by an outstanding Toyota/offroad shop as well as a proper alignment. I have bombed this 4Runner through some rough, hot Texas terrain and it’s eaten up the trails like breakfast. The reservoirs come with a 21 position adjustment knob and it WORKS. I leave it on the highest (stiffest) setting for daily community and highway driving and it stays planted on the road at 82-85mph. The lowest (softest) setting, well, it’s soft. It felt like there was a sponge made from a Cadillac’s back seat in the springs. Soft. I spent about 2 years researching suspension kits and finally pulled the trigger on inspired overland. I talked to Ferdinand, talked to his other employees through Instagram and they all squared me away with everything I needed.Oh and their adjustable rear track (pan hard) bar.. super easy install. Double threaded for easy adjustments. It’s a simple part and does everything it needs to do.Between the clear, responsive communication and their amazing customer service, inspired overland has been the best company to do business with. I can’t emphasize this enough, GIVE THEM A SHOT!
