My son and I enjoyed our 17 days through 6 Capital cities in Europe.The train passes worked out really well , and whilst I was little apprehensive of relying just on my phone( I did have paper backups just case ) my fears came to nothing. We had no problems whatsoever even with the passes.The SJ and DB trains were very comfortable, even in Second class. I was a bit disappointed with the two Eurostar services. Uncomfortable seats and not much space with the tray table down.The hotels were all good. Some were fairly small rooms but all were clean and beds were comfortable. Our room in Amsterdam even had an expresso machine.The instructions how to get to the hotels from the stations were very good and the extra notes for things to see and do in each city were helpful.A very enjoyable experience. My son is already talking about the things he wants to explore next time.
