I've purchased a pair of CMP snow shoes for 67 Euros in the online shop. The shoes were supposed to be fully waterproof. The shoes arrived on time and everything seemed to be great while using them in the fresh deep snow. Once the snow started to melt it became clear that the shoes are actually leaking and getting my feet wet within 10-15 minutes from leaving the house for a 2-3 hour hike with me dogs. I was only walking in the melting snow, not in actual water.I wrote customer support and told them that basically the shoes feel really great and firm and it might be a manufacturing flaw so I'll be grateful if they could please send me a replacement of the same model. It was of course within the return time. After asking me to take pictures of both shoes from all directions and also of the barcode inside, customer support actually had the audacity to tell me that they cannot replace the shoes or even send me a refund, because I first need to send back the faulty shoes so they could send them for laboratory analysis that may take 2-3 weeks and only if the findings will actually show that they are leaking they will compensate me. So, according to Intersport, I should sit at home, in Bavaria, by the German Alps, for 2-3 weeks, without being able to go out and walk anywhere until Intersport's would gracefully reach a unanimous vote of their supreme Intersport court.They also offered to send me 14 Euros compensation for me to keep the dysfunctional shoes.I never had this kind of experience in my 10 years of living in Germany. It's unacceptable and infuriating. I recommend everyone to stay away from Intersport and do their business with companies who respect our money, our time, and our word.
