This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve encountered. Their verification process is chaotic — they keep asking for documents without clear reasons, and even official IDs with full addresses are rejected without explanation. They turned down my national ID, birth certificate, driver’s license, and even my bike license, only to eventually accept a bank statement… after wasting an incredible amount of time. And after all that? They randomly deactivated my account again without any explanation. No communication, no logic, no respect for the effort they made me go through. It truly feels like they lack direction, and they certainly don’t respect anyone’s time. If you’re thinking of applying or dealing with them — spare yourself the frustration. There are many professional, capable companies out there. This is definitely not one of them.
I aimed to participate in AI training on a specific platform. Everything started off well; I completed numerous assessments that were insightful and impressive. However, these took time. Eventually, I onboarded onto some projects, set up necessary tools, and completed assessment tasks. Their dashboard is quite technical and complicated, so I spent time figuring it out. In the end, I was left waiting to get assigned to projects. Keep in mind, this took months and a lot of unpaid hours. Now they’ve begun sending me emails about setting up my tax in their system. I went there and… it informed me that I can't participate in their projects at all, as they do not collaborate with individuals from a specific country. They had this information all along, but still allowed me to invest countless hours in training, onboarding, and setup, even though it was clear I wouldn’t be able to participate. And no, this isn’t a joke. I’m still on their communication platform, have signed agreements, and am waiting for project assignments. It’s just a waste of time. I have no idea why they did this. Many other companies inform you upfront if you cannot work for them. So this was quite a costly and disappointing experience. I generally appreciated their approach, but this was a trap.
I received an ad inviting applications for a Biology Expert position, fluent in Italian. After applying, I got a link to assess my English language skills. The assessment was stated to take one hour and was unpaid. The service apparently does not provide biology-related content but focuses on language-related content. Therefore, the approach seems somewhat unusual. I suspect they are looking to obtain some AI training at no cost.
