ATOM 10 oz Review (Purchased 8/27)I received my 10 oz ATOM on 8/27 and was excited to try it. states made in America. Hopefully with American parts. No distinction indicated that foreign parts were used. This review highlights a few issues I’ve noticed—just my opinion, open to constructive feedback.When prepping the bottle, I fully charged it (about 3 hours). Upon filling it for the first time, I noticed a small amount of water at the bottom covering the PEM screen under the white cap. Concerned about whether the bottle had been used or if the water was safe, I contacted support. On 8/30, Franz replied, explaining the water was intentionally added to preserve the PEM’s integrity during shipping and was completely safe.After rinsing and handwashing the bottle, I reassembled it. Since that first charge on 8/30, the battery has lasted impressively well—32 button presses (124 minutes total use) and still half a charge left. Battery performance is a solid 10/10.However, for $139, I expected the bottle to be glass. I use it twice daily, morning and evening, energizing the water twice for 8 minutes each time. That’s 256 minutes so far, though I later learned this isn’t enough to maximize benefits.The product description states the ATOM infuses 5 PPM per 10-minute cycle. With a 10 oz bottle, that means about 2.5 full charges are needed. This isn’t a big deal if you have a routine, but without one, it could take 60 minutes just to prepare the recommended 58 oz daily intake. Better clarification on the website would help.I also later discovered (via a weight-based calculator) that I’d need about 58 oz daily for real benefits. Had I known this, I would have bought a larger model. To make matters worse, I received an email offer for a bigger bottle with a discount right after my purchase—which was frustrating. For the same price, I would have chosen the tumbler.The FAQ section is detailed, but I feel the most important questions should be front and center: 1. How much water do I need daily for real benefit? 2. How long does it take to infuse a given bottle size? 3. How long does the infusion last in the water? (For the ATOM, 10–13 minutes.) 4. A chart showing infusion cycles, bottle sizes, and resulting PPM would be very helpful.Other points of confusion: Does the PEM always need water in it for preservation, or only during shipping? Franz didn’t clarify. Also, can anyone realistically drink 32 oz in 10–13 minutes before hydrogen dissipates? Most importantly: does one cycle actually deliver the claimed benefits?Including test strips with the bottle and offering an easy return policy if results don’t match the claims would go a long way.Physically, I don’t notice a difference yet—likely because I need to increase my daily intake fourfold. I’ll consider writing an updated review once I’ve adjusted.In the time it took me to write and proofread this review I noticed my bottle had lost about 1/3 of the bottles capacity. NORMALLY I would charge twice then drink. No leaks. But apparently the longer you wait the bottle leaks.
