I joined this company as an affiliate under its previous brand name Eaconomy. Trading facilities and education was great, I saw value in the products and services and so decided to become an affiliate, as a single mom looking for another stream of income.Despite that, I was never paid the commission I earned, due to things going with the company behind the scenes. But after false promises upon promises that commission/bonus payments owed would be settled this company has failed to resolve the matter. I find this very unethical, I did the work, introduced people to the platform and was approved for commission. But when it came time to pay out, excused on top of excuses followed by silence. And having spoken to others I know it’s not just me affected.Meanwhile, the company had the time, money, and resources to do a full rebrand, new name, new image. That speaks volumes.It’s giving “the rebrand was a cover-up”.This experience hasn’t put me off affiliate marketing, but it’s made one thing crystal clear:Do your due diligence. Don’t just research the company, research on the CEO and/or the people behind it. Because when things go wrong, the glossy brand and big promises won’t mean anything.
