Irish Ferries provided us with one of the most disappointing travel experiences we’ve ever had. We were traveling with our elderly cat and opted to use their cattery. However, the cattery’s location was utterly unsuitable—situated in such a noisy area that it was a complete nightmare for the cats. The constant loud sounds were distressing, especially for our senior pet, who was clearly terrified throughout the journey.To make matters worse, when we politely requested to keep our cat in her cage with us in our private cabin, we were flatly denied, despite the fact that it would have caused no inconvenience to anyone else. The lack of compassion and understanding from the staff was shocking, and it made an already stressful trip even worse.I would strongly advise against traveling with Irish Ferries if you’re bringing a pet—they clearly do not prioritize the well-being of animals.
