I bought my SUP less than a year ago. There has been a massive recall due to SUPs busting, which is unfortunate but I felt confident that I bought from a premium company, so there would be a premium replacement experience. First of all, they discourage customer service by phone (no phone number listed, had to dig for it through their chat function, which to me is unacceptable for an online company without a storefront). Second of all, they require that you literally cut up the current board before they will issue a replacement, which will take 6 months. I was not able to get someone at customer service be willing to understand my situation (my board is on the other side of the country). There were zero alternative solutions provided.I recognize there are safety concerns at play, but when you pay a premium for a product, the customer service should match. At iRocker/Blackfin, that’s just not the case. I honestly can’t believe that they are not standing behind the quality of their boards and working with consumers to find a solution that works to solve their own manufacturing problems.
