Positive experience with Gil Paz at israel-diamonds.com. Answered many questions via email before I made the purchase. Things that went wrong where not issues with the seller, but based on my experience buyers should know the following. Th US toll free number never worked, nor did the international number. Not sure if this is a result of the Israel / Hamas war but I would repeatedly get the message, "your call cannot be completed at this time in the county you are calling". Not all US banks (incl the US largest) will wire USD to Israel with the wire instructions provided. This seemed to be a bank policy issue as the second bank had no problem and the diamond was shipped quickly after the wire was received. US Customs now requires an attestation regarding imported diamonds to state they didn't come from Russia. Customs required this from both the exporter who had included it and the importer (despite being a individual not a business, which seemed contrary to the regulation). Shipping company dropped the ball on this and the item was hung up at customs for 5 days. Overall very happy with Gil Paz customer service & israel-diamonds.com.
