I accompanied an artist friend of mine to the Rome International Art exhibit from July 11 through 25 2025 At the moment of the delivery of the paintings we were already greeted in a rather unfriendly manner and we realised how small the wall was on which five paintings had to be hung partially one over the other. The gallery was much too small for the paintings of so many artists participating.On the evening of the opening of the exhibit one could find almost exclusively most of the artists who were exhibiting. I could not see any representatives of newspapers, magazines, curators or potential buyers.The reviews of some of the art work stems exclusively from the personnel of "itsliquid".In my opinion "itsliquid" is luring artists to expose in their exhibits who are looking for a platform to become recognised. For a professional artist this format is nothing but a "trap" since the organiser is demanding quite high sums of money to be able to expose but does very little or nothing to promote its exhibits.From my own negative experience I would advice any artist to look for other ways to expose their work of art and try to avoid "itsliquid".
