I signed up with IVIM for a 6-month medication supply with the understanding that it would be delivered in 3-month increments and that refill reminders would be provided. While my first order followed this structure, the company later changed deliveries to 2-month increments without notifying me and failed to send any refill reminders.
As a result, I ran out of medication unexpectedly while still being charged a monthly fee, with no follow-up or monitoring despite their stated policies. I paid for a full 6-month supply but did not receive the full amount, and the company is now refusing to provide the remaining medication that has already been paid for.
This constitutes charging for goods or services that were not provided, which is not permitted under California consumer protection law. I am owed the remaining 2 months of medication from the 6-month supply I purchased
