I engaged a service as a non-U.S. resident based on their clear claims that they could assist in opening a physical U.S. business bank account remotely. This was the main reason I opted for their package. While the company formation was completed, despite months of effort and extensive documentation on my part, they could not successfully open a physical U.S. bank account as promised. Each option they suggested either failed, deviated significantly from the initial descriptions, or came with impractical requirements. Since the business couldn’t operate without a bank account, I requested to halt and reverse the structure. I was then charged an additional $1,500 to dissolve a company that only existed due to their banking claims. Although a partial refund was issued, the dissolution fee was retained. From my viewpoint, this fee wouldn’t have applied if the service had been accurately represented from the start. Initially, communication was responsive, but once discussions about refunds began, the tone became rigid. Even after the CEO acknowledged the situation in later conversations, the firm ultimately refused to change their stance. I share this to inform other non-U.S. founders about the risks and limitations before relying on banking claims. I strongly advise obtaining written, bank-specific confirmation directly from the bank before proceeding with similar services.
