I placed an order with Japan2Uk the week before Christmas so one of the busier times of year for them probably. I received my order 5 days later which was packaged up securely and neatly. Upon opening the loose packs id ordered to qualify for free shipping were not included. I emailed them and received a response the same day saying they would sort and the next day (Christmas eve) received email from royal mail confirming they had my parcel which was received a few days after.
