On April 2, I placed a subscription order for a period of 6 months to try out this product. At the same time, I also ordered a separate subscription of the same variety (Japanese food items) to diversify my monthly boxes.WELL, the second box from Japan Candy Store's competition not only has shipped but arrived four days ago. I reached out to customer service and was told that since I signed up in April (April 2), I would not get a box until May (at least 4 weeks later) AND still get charged for April.So 4-6 weeks for a curiosity box is not an acceptable business model while charging the customer, and I am honestly quite disappointed.I do not expect, require, or demand special or preferential treatment, but what I have experienced from this company does not meet my expectations. For moderators from Japan Candy Store, I have emails to support my claims made in this review.
