This company, JapanCandyStore, included expedited shipping fees when declaring the value of the package for duties. The value of the goods, candies, I bought did not change with the addition of expedited shipping but they declared the package as such. When addressed, they responded saying that DHL requires the full value invoiced to the customer and shrugged it off with no remorse or offer to help remedy the situation while saying, "I hope you understand". Disgusting.I hope that other potential customers see this and stay aware of JapanCandyStore potentially overvaluing their packages for duties. Do not support this type of business practice! Needless to say, I will no longer be ordering from this store again.Edit: In response to the Reply, I've ordered from the store before in February 2021. The order came as ordered with no issue. Why this is an issue this time around, I am unaware of but with the little to no assistance I am receiving with this case, I'll happily take my business elsewhere.
