About the only thing my group liked was saving money and actually being able to go on our trip. We had very weird interactions with this company and were debating whether or not they were legit. Our trip wasn't until the end of December, so we had to stew in uncertainty for months before finding out that our tickets were really there. Booking rate was not accepted; when we attempted to book we were suddenly getting phone calls and emails from the company telling us that it would be for a higher price. Since it was still lower than buying direct or through one of the major travel sites we still opted to purchase through the site. This was also after researching whether or not this was a scam site. The payments were made to another airline that had nothing to do with who we flew with. The communication with Hot Flight Deals was poor. We were being hounded one night and the next day when trying to get a hold of someone from the company, they told us that Robbin, who we were dealing with was not there and apparently no one else there could assist. With the lack of professionalism, we had our misgivings about this working out for us and not being a scam. I attempted to contact Delta to take over the reservation and they could not even though all flights were with them and I was willing to pay a fee. We were told to contact Avianca who had our reservation. There was no way to contact them other than email and they blew me off after only one message. It was stressful wondering for months if this trip was going to work out. The 3 of us decided we would rather pay more money next time and have peace of mind.
