Delivery from DHL is an absolute joke. But not as bad as dealing with consistently hostile offshore customer service agents. I've been on hold for over 2 hours today, with no resolution. Just multiple agents reciting policies and telling me about their incompetent systems, and saying they have no power to do anything. One agent apologised that another agent had deliberately given me false information... she actually said 'he lied to you'.
To add insult to injury, it's very hard to make a complaint. The people on the phone made it difficult to say the least.
What a huge fall from grace John Lewis. Impersonal, rude and hostile. You should be ashamed of these service standards that apparently you now think are ok.
