I had an incredible experience attending the Singapore PPE Summer School Program in December 2025. It felt like the first academic setting where disagreement was embraced rather than avoided, treated as a valuable opportunity when approached in good faith. The discussion culture was remarkable; the most memorable moments happened when someone made a claim, faced challenges, and had to clarify or adjust their thoughts on the spot. This kind of pressure is uncommon in student environments, and it sharpened my critical thinking skills. It was refreshing to engage with peers who genuinely cared about ideas and could disagree without taking it personally. I quickly formed friendships as our conversations delved deep beyond surface-level topics. If you're a student who enjoys thinking aloud, being challenged, and having your views tested, I highly recommend this program.
