I purchased an Artisan Bespoke Mattress nearly seven weeks ago after I was advised by John Ryan that due to my body weight and sleeping style that an Artisan Bespoke would be an excellent choice, which was also the most comparable to a Vispring Herald Superb which I had tried in the Vispring Flagship Store in London and liked although their price is a lot more expensive that the JR Artisan Bespoke.I have to say that after putting up with a 10-year-old saggy “medium tension” Dreams mattress, the JR Bespoke mattress can as to major shock to my system not to mention my back. After the first two or three nights (sorry, I can’t really call it sleep) I was worried that after spending a fair bit of money I had made to wrong choice and the mattress tension (Firm) was far too hard for my poor back. I also need to mention that I had also paired it with a Hasena Swiss handmade solid wooden bed which also may have had a contributing effect.I then went back to the JR forum (a superb source of advice, information & feedback IMHO) and read up again on the advice that you should give it four to six weeks for your body to acclimatise to the new mattress and the new mattress to acclimatise to your body. I won’t claim that things dramatically changed for the better in the next couple of nights, but I will claim that my sleep, rest and comfort levels continuously improved over the next three of four weeks. I can honestly say that I now look forward to bedtimes in the knowledge that I will be getting a comfortable full night’s sleep & rest. I would like to give a huge thankyou to all JR Staff for all their advice, help and expertise and would recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality mattress & top notch customer service.
