Found it relatively easy to set up an appointment. Had to fill in the same information a couple of times but no big deal. Requested a female, team worked with me to find a female, at a suitable time.However, major red flag when I joined the session - it was recording. The professional advised that Blossom standard practice is to record the sessions. She was very understanding that I didn’t want to progress. Blossom tried to reassure me about how these recordings are securely stored. Absolutely not. Psychiatrist video calls being recorded and stored? Hard pass. Even if it’s technically legal and compliant, it’s a no from me. They then advised I could request my professional to go outside their usual system - I still felt uncomfortable and chose not to proceed.I can’t understand why they’d feel the need to record these sessions as standard practice, when people are expected to at their most honest and vulnerable but then having it recorded and having no control over the recording.
