I am writing this to warn anyone seeking a formal autism diagnosis or clinical documentation for accommodations: Do not waste your time or money with Blossom Health.
This practice is engaging in what I can only describe as a "bait-and-switch" scheme. Before scheduling, I was explicit with multiple representatives and reviewed their website, both of which indicated they provide formal autism evaluations, including ADOS-2 testing. I specifically needed this for accommodation documentation and clearly stated I already had a prior ADHD/DLD diagnosis. I was assured they could provide the specific autism testing I required.
The Reality of the Appointment:
Once they had my money and I was in the consultation, the provider admitted that Blossom Health:
• Does NOT perform full autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Does NOT provide neuropsychological testing.
• Does NOT provide documentation for accommodations.
Instead of the clinical evaluation I was promised, I was given generic, "quick" questionnaires that are freely available online. The provider essentially told me I "likely" have autism traits but that I would need to see a real neuropsychologist for a diagnosis—the exact professional I thought I was hiring when I booked with them.
Medical Negligence & Poor Service:
To make matters worse, the provider prescribed Atomoxetine, a medication I explicitly told them I had already taken in the past with no benefit. This proves they did not review my medical history and are simply operating as a "medication mill."
Zero Accountability:
I have reached out via text and email multiple times over the past week to resolve this. They are incredibly fast to respond when it comes to scheduling and taking your money, but they have completely ignored my requests for a refund regarding their misrepresented services.
Bottom Line: This is a shady business that prioritizes profit over patient care. If you need a valid diagnosis or actual support, look elsewhere. Blossom Health is a money-grab that ignores you the moment you ask for accountability.
