I joined the Calibrate program almost a year ago. It has been a wonderful experience so far. I am thankful to have the opportunity to join Calibrate through my workplace benefits. I appreciate the process with the lab work and the virtual meeting with the Doctor, the learning modules on the Calibrate app, the biweekly calls with my Coach Becka B, and the program overall as it is designed to encourage weight loss but also provides many tools to help you accomplish your goals.The Coaching sessions are helpful for me because it provides a level of accountability, an opportunity to ask questions, Coach Becka has been influential to me in my weight loss journey by being encouraging, by providing support on any questions I might have, and by helping me to set realistic goals. She is also understanding if I don’t reach a goal that I have set for myself, and offers tips on how to be successful.I am fortunate to take a GLP-1, which has definitely helped with my weight loss journey, but I also like the overall eating plan and the flexibility it has. My intent when I joined was to take the GLP-1, while also changing my eating habits. I have been overweight for many years and have always struggled with my weight. The medication has definitely been a key to my weight loss so far, but I know that staying on medication is not my end goal. I have changed my eating habits thanks to Calibrate’s food pyramid and the fact that I can eat any food that I want without having to count calories, etc…. I have found that on a normal daily basis, I do not make bad decisions on what I eat, which was one of my goals when I started this journey.I have had very few issues over the past year with Calibrate, and any issue that I have had has been resolved in a reasonable amount of time.I look forward to my follow up Doctor review at the one year mark, and then to work through the next year of Calibrate with my Coach, Becka B.Calibrate has worked for me and I am so thankful to have found out about through my workplace.
