I have been diagnosed with arthritis in my wrist and previously, was given a steroid injection by my GP to relieve the pain which seemed to work well. Since this initial injection my GP's have for one reason or another been unable to provide any further injection and as a result the pain in my wrist has become considerable and impacted on me being able to do the simplest of tasks like opening jars, without being in a lot of pain. I had the same problem carrying bags or placing any weight on the affected wrist. I therefore looked to have a further injection and was prepared to pay for the treatment. I was very fortunate to find Ram after seeing an advert in a magazine which was pushed through my door by the Local Council. I underwent the first treatment and found Ram to be a very caring practitioner who talked me through every step of the process and used ultrasound equipment to locate the trouble areas of my wrist. The injection was relatively pain free and I left with Ram asking me to contact him to let him know how things were after the injection had settled down. After 2 weeks I had some pain relief from the injection but was experiencing more pain in other sites of the wrist. This was where Ram delivered exceptional patient care because when I made him aware of this he invited me back at the earliest opportunity and re examined my wrist and found further sites of inflammation and signs of aggravation which would be the cause of pain to me. He gave me a further injection into these sites and made no further charge to me. He was particularly understanding and considerate to my situation and offered the best possible service. I am pleased to say that this second injection has improved my wrist to a very high degree and now I am able to do pretty much everything without any pain at all. All in all I believe that this kind of treatment is very effective for arthritis and that Ram is the kind of practitioner I would highly recommend should others find themselves in a similar situation.
