We were going to ship it ... honest!

One of those "up and coming" trendy new businesses that promise something new and better, but in reality just don't know how to run a business and are bad at customer service.I'm not really able to tell at this point whether they just "can't be bothered" to respond to inquiries or if they're scared to death of their customers.Long story: Placed order for this supposedly great new dog collar/harness that was supposed to stop dogs from pulling while on the leash. Several things should have turned me away: 1) The advert came from facebook. 2) The price was not stated up front, but a discount percentage was. I know, I should have seen all the signs, but I got this new puppy that I'd really like to get used to walking on a leash for her own safety ... so:Placed order on June 20 and they took my money right away before shipping any product.After 7 days (June 28) I sent an email noting no movement on shipping and asking for a refund.An hour later, I got a shipping notification - not from California where the website indicated the company was based, but Florida. I got no response on email, and the action was not what I had requested. After 7 days, I didn't exactly expect the product, but I did expect notification of processing and shipment. They've had my money for 7 days...Also, the product has yet to actually move, the USPS tracking service says that a shipping label has been created, not that the product actually shipped.For the lack of being willing to actually contact the customer - basically throwing a package at me (or a shipping label in my case) and hoping I'd just forget that I'd asked for my money back - I'd be careful buying from these people. They won't be in business next year, and they won't be good at finding lost shipments or correcting mistakes if they won't or can't be brave enough to actually talk to their customers.Well, the shipment looks like it might actually move - got a form email too, telling me to "hang in there!" - updating to 2 stars since they still never acknowledged my request to cancel the order or responded directly as to why it took so long. Beware ...
