While the broker initially provided proactive daily updates, their communication gradually became reactive, shifting to weekly and eventually monthly updates. It seemed our case was deemed too time-consuming and not profitable enough, leading to it being deprioritised. They didn’t advise us to seek alternative brokers, leaving us in limbo with no progress.We ultimately switched to another broker, who secured a lender within a week—a stark contrast to the nearly three months spent with JustMortgages.If we had gone with the other broker from the start, we could have finalised the process before the new stamp duty charges kicked in, saving a few thousand pounds.
