We needed a new boiler urgently I ordered a new boiler but then British Gas had messed us around no ends so decided to request my deposit back and go elsewhere. I was informed by British Gas I’d need my floors coming up to fit a bigger supply for a combi boiler with a huge cost to go with it so decided to stick to a replacement system. I called John Wilkinson Heating Kerry was great, she was efficient and really helpful. I live local to their office and received a call from John himself who stated he was passing by, he popped in had a look at what I needed and stated that the gas supply under the floors maybe sufficient but may need to investigate more, we decided on going with the same system we had and we agreed a price.Rick the engineer arrived 2 days later ‘yeh 2 days’ BG had a 2-3 week lead time. Rick was really professional and courteous. He removed my old boiler inpackaged the new one then called me in and stated the gas supply pipes were sufficient to feed a combi boiler, I asked if it was too late to have a combi, he said no problem, within an hour he was back with a combi boiler and was completed and fitted. He could have easily taken the easy option and said “No it’s too late” but didn’t. An absolute credit to his company … so we have what we originally wanted at a hell of a lot less than British Gas who in my opinion are shocking in many ways….. companies and people like John and Rick are a dying breed sadly. I’ve read some of the reviews beneath and can honestly say this is a company I would trust looking after any one of my family. M well done guys ‘great job’.
