This company is from China- they are a scam. STAY AWAY!I purchased a product called “KanineCare Dog Tooth-Brush (FDA Approved)” after seeing an ad on Facebook that had a lot of positive reviews of the product. I looked at the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages, both which claimed they were a “family owned business from Los Angeles, CA”. Their website did not have an address, but it did have a phone number with a US area code. I sent them a Facebook message to ask what size Tooth-Brush to order for my 8-10 lb dogs, they immediately replied and said SMALL. So I ordered a Tooth-Brush, sized small, and the total came to $23.40. I waited for over a month for the shipment to arrive. When it finally did, I was shocked to see it had been shipped from China. Why would a company based in Los Angeles be shipping merchandise from China? When I opened the package, the item they sent me was either the wrong size, or their idea of “small” is much different than reality. This item would never in a million years fit inside my dog’s mouths, it is huge. Also, it appeared to be made from a very cheap material that let off an offensive chemical odor, which I’d never smelled on any previous purchases of dog toys or dog items. It certainly didn’t seem “FDA approved” to me- it looked like something you could’ve bought at a Dollar Store! I checked the company’s return policy listed on their website, it said as long as the package was unused (which mine was) and I still had the original packaging, you could return w/in 30 days- just to contact them about the return and they would send me a shipping label. I contacted them via email the same day I received it, explained the situation and asked for the product to be returned and a refund given (like I said, not only was it the wrong size, but I don’t want my dogs chewing on a chemical cocktail). I got a reply email the next day from someone named “Bianca” saying that I can return the item, but I’d have to pay for shipping myself, and here was the address: Name: Chen Liangzhuan Wang Chao Address: No. 9, Gaoxin 13th Road, Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China Telephone Number --- 18157171926. I was shocked and angered! This would cost over $40 to ship back- and I only paid $23.40 for it! This company has completely misrepresented itself, and not only that- they do not stand by their products one bit. The fact that they indicate on their website that they will send out a return label was completely false. Everything about this company is false. I even tried to call their 213 area code phone number- no one answers, it’s just a message saying their “phone lines are down”. It’s all a scam. I have filed a complaint with Paypal, I doubt I’ll see a penny of my money returned. I don’t care as much about that as about getting the word out to other dog owners to not get scammed by this company. Additionally, using another e-mail address, I sent them an email pretending I was a potential customer asking for information regarding their product’s “FDA Approval”. Guess what… no response. I did a little snooping online and cannot find this company or any of their products listed anywhere in regards to be associated with the FDA. So stay away- this is another scam company based in China.
