Incorrect address, defective product, no place to drop off return, time consuming

Firstly the address was inputted wrong on the postage label. I noticed the address was wrong on an email I had from the company. I emailed them immediately before they had even dispatched the item (the same day as I purchased) and I was advised “Usually if DHL/ Parcelforce have trouble delivering the parcel they contact the recipient immediately via the mailaddress or phone number noted for the order. :-)” This didn’t happen. DHL updated the tracking to say there was an error with delivery address and couldn’t deliver. I emailed about this, had no response and tried to ring a variety of DHL numbers but none of them were correct to get in contact with. I tried to chat with someone on the chat function as I had no response via email, they said I had to be patient and wait to see what DHL decided what to do and that they couldn’t get in touch with DHL for me. I then had an email which contradicted this from the company. asking for a contact number to re arrange delivery with DHL. So the parcel was extremely late and far past when I’ve needed it for. The parcel finally arrived and the logo is slanted on the bag, it was a lot of money for the bag so for it to arrive like this and so late I didn’t feel was worth it. I asked to return it, to which they’ve said yes and told me to drop off to a local DHL pack station. They’ve advised once they have received the parcel (me sending from England to Germany, so that will take some time) they will then send me out another which can take a further 7-10 days! On top of this there is no place near by to drop off with DHL. I’ve advised the company of this and asked how can I return it, and asked to return and get a refund instead of a replacement, as this has taken far too long and I needed a backpack ages ago so I’m going to need to buy somewhere else. This is going to be a long time for me to get my money back to buy elsewhere. They’re not responding in a timely manner and I ordered this coming up a month ago and I need a bag asap. PayPal dispute opened, so glad I paid via them
