I’ve been practicing siddha yoga for decades so this wasn’t my first meditation. I live in Thailand and Buddhism is all around me. I find their teachings very familiar to Siddha yoga. Where as living life in the Buddhist teaching is similar which we observe life unattached without rules to follow and using mantras and chants to bring awareness to our actions and understand our inter strengths of consciousness. They both guide me on to finding my true self… With Siddha yoga I would give thanks to the grace of God. With Buddhism I give thanks to my awareness.
