For the past several months I have been working closely with Nick Ramone and the KDP as a first time children’s book author. It has been a pleasure to work with Nick and watching my thoughts transform into my children’s book. Nick shared a personal connection with my book (My Brothers Voice) which tells the story of two children, one autistic and nonverbal, and the way his brother is teaching the world to hear him. I found that very comforting that he understood the world of disability and felt comfortable enough to share his connection to that story with me. The only reason I’m giving four stars at this point is we still have to go into production and start the marketing process and I want be able to come back and give a true review on that part of the experience. If this was about Nick alone, I would definitely do five stars.
