If my invitation to complete the Keysafe online tenant vetting application had stated "you will be asked for your Internet banking log on codes" prior to clicking on the link, there is no way I would have commenced the process. The software takes you on the usual journey of uploading your passport (usual) name, address, salary, employers name, how long at current address etc, and then what starts as a fairly harmless application switches to your banking details. Suddenly, the software is requesting Internet banking log on codes. This is totally over the top, and for a privately owned company to be asking for this is utterly disgraceful. Two entities knew those, my bank and me. Now a third party (Keysafe) knows them too!!!!! In todays times of cybercrimes, this piece of software owned by Keysafe needs shutting down TODAY!!! The invasion of my financial privacy was completed along with populating the Keysafe questionnaire, so avoid using this defective online tenant vetting software like the plague.
