I found a house that I had the money to pay for the full tenancy upfront. Unfortunately the letting agency uses KeySafe as the referencing company. They opened up an application, and closed it without requesting any documentation. They fail me. When I inquired the letting agent the reason, they said it was because I declined to provide information. KeySafe closed the application and we couldn’t upload anything. The only information they asked from me was my accountant’s email. They emailed my accountant and when they opened the email the application was already closed. They got paid for manual referencing but did nothing. Which resulted in losing a house that I can pay in full. It’s ridiculous and frustrating. The market is hard enough to find suitable properties to rent and then comes scammers like them to steal people’s money.
