Merlin have more stock and a bigger, shinier website, however, all that glitters…Kg are a great outfit, with knowledgeable, helpful staff. Adrian is particularly good. Won’t try and sell you something unsuitable and won’t go straight to the upper end items. What you’ll get is good advice, as much time as required to get what you need, plenty of time to tune and get used to a purchase, with some very helpful coaching. I’ve also had a good experience ordering from them online. On one occasion, an item wasn’t available within the stated timeframe. They promptly contacted me, asked if I was happy to wait and, if not, offered refund. Merlin, by comparison, sell items with a claimed lead time of 7 days.
