Kickstarter were made aware by backers of a potential fraudulent campaign (ComfyAir) before the fundraising phase had even closed out. They were subsequently contacted by hundreds of backers raising concerns of fraud. Kickstarter Support only stated that they had escalated to Trust & Safety Team. Months later, Kickstarter is still hosting the campaign as though it is entirely legitimate, despite the fact that the creators went AWOL in December 2023 (now April 2024). Kickstarter is a wilful sponsor of fraud by bogus creators, hence its abysmal Trustpilot score.
