Thought this was a good way to fund new projects but after committing to a pledge and not receiving the goods I think this just encouraging people to scam you out of your money. They don't reply to your emails and when I raised a dispute with my credit card company they sent back a 4page document explaining that my claim was invalid. Their explanation is that backers are forming a contract with the creators and not kickstarter who are not part of the contract, which is strange as they take the card payment. So Kickstarter say they make it clear that Kickstarter is not responsible for the fulfilment of rewards.However after my claim was rejected my goods turned up although I had to pay a customs charge. Only 4 months late.If you don't mind losing your money then this is for you but be warned you may not get your reward and Kickstarter won't refund your money.
