Our experience was with Bubble Boy Events, they are the same company using a different name, was diabolical, it was unsafe, the staff were rude and hostile, an entirely awful experience. Do not book. The coordinator arrived late with no apology, accompanied by two unknown assistants, none of the staff were in uniform, and the company has still not confirmed if they were legitimate employees and has failed to provide DBS certificates. There was no introduction, no health and safety briefing, and zero engagement with the children. Staff repeatedly asked us what they should do, clearly unprepared to run the activity and utterly clueless about everything. The session, booked for 90 minutes, lasted barely 30 minutes before we asked them to leave due to their lack of competence. The equipment was dirty, poorly maintained, and unsafe, including bubbles with broken straps, yet children were told to use them regardless. Staff also made sexist remarks, suggesting the activity was 'for boys', as girls 'aren't strong enough'. He also took photos/videos of children without consent, which is a serious safeguarding concern.When we refused to pay the full fee, the staff refused to leave and demanded we speak to a superior, creating a hostile and uncomfortable situation. Partial payment did not resolve the issue.The company has failed to provide DBS checks, risk assessments, or satisfactory cleaning documentstion. I was provided with doscuments for an entirely different acticity. I have since escalated the unsafe elements to Trading Standards. Nothing can change the fact they ruined my son and his friends’ joint birthday party. The party was definitely one to remember - but for entirely the wrong reasons.I would strongly advise against using this company. Their lack of professionalism, disregard for safety, and complete failure to deliver the service advertised meant our children’s party was ruined, and guests felt unwelcome. This is not a company I would ever recommend under any circumstances.
