The advent calendar arrived on the 20th of December, which now means it has been set aside for next year. Not a catastrophe by any means, but what is astounding to me is the completely unprofessional and very public handling of customer complaints by the shop owner. Every single one of us has had setbacks in their work-life that they weren't completely responsible for, because no man is an island etc pp. I empathize with how frustrating that can be. But what you don't do is point the finger to the next weakest link down the line and write drawn out emails about your emotional state to your customers. You own up, you apologize, you don't place the blame elsewhere even if it might make you grind your teeth. The replies to rightful customer complaints here also read like the tantrums of the five year olds I work with. I'm sure I have one of my own coming for this review.
