I recently had four moderate/small sized windows and two external doors supplied and fitted and the creasing tiles above the windows replaced. At nearly £9000 I had hoped for a really good job, and from a distance it does look quite nice. Up close, it's more disappointing with lots of things out of plumb/straight/level. The window cosmetic glazing bars are applied rather haphazardly and with some very odd spacing on some of them, and there are some very uneven gaps between the window sashes and frames. There were a load of other more constructional issues they wouldn't do anything about either. Apparently I 'have ridiculously unrealistic expectations and will never be happy with anything'. The fact that is was better than it was before and better than some of the neighbour's windows should have been good enough for me, or so the salesman told me.A few friends and colleagues have used Kindlelight and their satisfaction does seem to be very dependent on the salesman and fitter they got. Maybe you'll be luckier than I was, or maybe I am too picky, but I wouldn't use them again.[edit] Edited for clarity and one of the windows is sticking, so down to two starsUpdate: Damp now tracking through at head of window where I predicted given their bodge of using plaster to make good rather than remortaring. I was told I knew nothing when I complained at the time.
