Established in 2003 we are a family run female led business that started out by selling furniture in Tredegar, South Wales.
In 2005 we moved to Blackwood, Caerphilly where we opened a two story retail store in the former Bier Keller, expanding our range of products to Furniture to homeware.
2007 was the start of an extremely tough year for us and many other businesses across the UK as the credit crunch hit, forcing us to change how the business operated. No one was buying furniture anymore so we moved into selling gifts, Jewellery, Cards. Womens Fashion accessories, Soft Toys & homeware.
2012 saw some more changes with the introduction of Number 5 The Tea Room. Which offers afternoon tea, cakes, coffees, and snacks.
2012 was also the first year we went online with Kismetblackwood.co.uk where we now stock nearly 3000 products from major brands including: Jellycat, Nomination Italy, UNOde 50, Katie Loxton, Joma London, Powder Designs and many more.See more
