I'm an estate agent, and I use an intermediary to connect me with solicitors for clients. I was intending to use these guys for all my deals moving forward, but was let down massively on my own purchase. KLR were repeatedly chased for updates by the intermediary and me, and there were weeks, if not months, of radio silence. The deal in general didn't feel great, but the final nail was our realisation that the solicitors who are meant to be supporting us aren't reliable enough for us to take their advice. We literally had zero comms until the vendors sol set a pre Christmas deadline, all of a sudden, KLR sprang into action, pushing us to exchange, didn't feel safe at all. In truth, there were many reasons for us pulling out, but no doubt KLR and the poor service were a big part of the call. When I complained, I was met with pushback, talk arounds and poor excuses, no attempt to apologise or take responsibility until the intermediary let them have it. The intermediary even said their reputation was being hurt because of these guys.
