I have spent approximately 5000 credits on this site and this is my experience so far. The conversation is lovely. HOWEVER, I feel I have NOT been part of an honest business practice. I have recently discovered that a woman I have been speaking to has sent me photos that are not her and do not belong to her. A simple reverse image search has revealed that they were posted on a different site nine years ago. The woman is 22 years old which means there is no possible way that the photos could belong to her because she would have been 13 at the time. When I informed their support team of this AND that I PAID FOR PHOTOS THAT WERE NOT EVEN HERS, their investigation team promptly told me that this did NOT violate their terms and that the girls ARE ALLOWED to send photos for attention that do not belong to them or are not them and claimed that the user did not claim that the photos were her. SO I ASKED HER AND SHE CLAIMED THEM AS HER OWN. I have since informed their support team and I’m waiting on a response and do expect to be refunded or reimbursed for my time/money wasted on this woman. Just on her alone, I’ve spent 1300 credits. Even though there’s the whole “not pretending to be someone you’re not” part of their terms and they claim to have “user transparency” and that their users are not paid at all. Which I do find odd that I’m pushed constantly by the girls I speak to to send gifts and open photos that I have to PAY FOR if there is no monetary compensation for the girls. This is clearly shady. You have to pay for EVERYTHING. Want to send a message? 2 credits per message. They say it’s per minute but the timer doesn’t stop when you leave the chat and the person you’re chatting with often takes a minute to respond. You should reasonably be able to read and respond to a message within fifteen seconds. The average text is typed and sent in approximately four seconds. Meaning you should be able to send four messages if you leave the chat and only spend 2 credits. But it doesn’t work that way. You wanna read a letter? First one is free. The next one is 10 credits. Photos in the letter? First one is unlocked for free. Every photo after that? 10 credits each. Videos? 50 credits to unlock. The girls will send you photos that you DONT have to pay for but the second the photos get a little spicy? Suddenly, they can’t send them for free. Gotta pay 50 credits to see them. Wanna send a photo? 10 credits. Wanna listen to a voice message? 10 credits. The only thing you DONT pay for at all is browsing the profiles. I feel very scammed and taken advantage of. This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had on a “dating” site. At least other sites have an indication on profiles that are clearly there to bleed you of your money. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I do enjoy the conversations but it has NOT been worth it for me. Edit and response: Thankfully I have received word from the investigation team and, while they have sided with me on the new information I have shared and refunded the credits I have spent with the individual, I do still feel that the team telling me that the girls sending photos and allowing other users to pay for some that potentially are not them is quite alarming. Rest assured that I will be image searching every photo I receive from now on and will be contacting the team in every case I find to be false. And, yes, the credit cost IS stated everywhere. However, you don’t realize just how fast they go and before you know it, your credits are gone. i have personally used approximately 2000 credits in a day. I recommend either changing the sizes of your credit packs to allow for more time to be spent communicating, or to have a type of subscription service that allows at least for unlimited communication in chat thus freeing the spending of credits on things like photos and voice messages. If your goal is truly to allow people to connect, putting them behind a paywall isn’t the way to do it. I wonder how many of your users simply stop using your service because they cannot afford the cost you associate with establishing that connection. I thank the team for the refund so I can continue to pursue others on the site who are hopefully more upstanding.
