Bought the Original Kudos Pivot door enclosure 1200x800 which included the easy plumb plinth kit.Having installed it following instruction's at the time was very happy.Unfortunately about 2 weeks following installation we could here cracking noises coming from shower tray.I contacted Kudos regarding the issue and advised to check no movement of shower tray, I asked if current number of feet was suitable for such a large shower tray and told it was the right kit (they did offer to send out an engineer at a cost of £60). Having rechecked installation I decided to add extra feet (kudos feet I might add) and the cracking noise stopped, happy days.Two years later the shower tray had a hair line crack appear, with water starting to get through so I decided to replace the shower tray, no mean feat when it was installed using shower panels but to ensure a good fit I decided to buy the same shower tray and to my amazement Kudos has completely changed the fitting instructions.Original instructions advised:6 feet supporting the shower trayMarine Ply 18mm between the floor and bottom of the supporting shower legs (so on floor with feet standing on ply)The New instructions advised:9 feet supporting the shower trayMarine Ply 18mm now placed directly between shower tray and feet (so between bottom of tray and top of feet) Shame I cant include pictures of original instructions and new ones so you can see the difference, its no wonder the tray has failed.I have written to Kudos but they have completely ignored my e-mail.Such a shame as the quality of the shower is great but they obviously identified an installation problem which they changed unfortunately the damage has already been done………. .NO they have not addressed it, they came out with an excuse about standardisation of the range but this was a complete structural change to the installation of the shower base wish I could put pictures
