At a critical moment when access to funds was urgently needed, they were completely locked out with no explanation or consideration for the situation, despite the bank having other ways to contact the account holder, such as email.
Such actions reflect a serious lack of responsibility, transparency, and empathy toward customers, especially in urgent circumstances.
The bank should review its policies and handle customers with far greater humanity and professionalism.
