I recently sold 3 items to this company and received offers for them to a total of £130. I trusted to company’s expertise on the items resale value and that they had given a fair offer based on this so I accepted and sent the items in. I am a single parent and was selling these to get some extra money to help during the holidays. I was very disappointed to see that the company had then uploaded the items for sale for £280 more than they had paid me for them, I understand they need to make a profit and have overheads but had I of known this was the value I would not have accepted what they offered me!! I have emailed asking the process for valuation and offers to ensure they are fair but not had a response. Just adding after label sources response which still is not good enough for the poor price they pay sellers. Yes we are not obliged to take the offers but as I previously stated I trusted your expertise on the value and did not expect you to list my items for £280 more than you paid, this is so grossly unfair and even after taking into account your overheads this policy is rubbish. The fact someone could buy my items then sell them back to you for 70% of what they paid for them means they will get far more than what you originally paid me!!! Makes no sense at all.
