I had been happily subscribed to STEL hosting since March 2024 who unfortunately sold out to Lagless.gg a couple of months ago. Since then I have not received decent support and they appear to make it deliberately difficult to close your account. I at first wanted assistance to make the server work, and was left on read for many hours. So I decided to take my business elsewhere, and the CSR became vindictive. They control many minecraft hosting related subreddits and censor feedback and termination requests. I would avoidedit: the CSR claimed to be unable to identify my account as an excuse to not close my account and is here clearly doing so. Business are required to honour Quebec Consumer Protection law and terminate subscriptions upon written request (not forcing me to open multiple tickets through multiple interfaces only to delete/close them) and this scammy webhost will be receiving a fine. edit: Lagless.gg has been retaliating and billing me, still hasn't closed my account, still in violation of Quebec law.
