I ordered a Velaris Advent Calendar after seeing an ad on FB. It was meant to be a gift for a friend who is obsessed with the books. I ordered with a month's lead way to December and it still arrived late!On opening the box, all the houses were open meaning no surprise factor at all - thankful it was open though, as it allowed me to see how poor the gifts were! Cheap kid xmas socks, a plastic xmas bauble, and none of the gifts that were displayed in the advertisement (or if an alternative provided it had nothing to do with the books). Besides the gifts being useless/crap, there was also x3 missing. The numbers on the gifts were in no numerical order and the whole product was a huge disappointment for the $60 spent! I won't be giving it to my friend as it's just embarrassing.I reached out to the company to explain my disappointment and request at least a partial refund. They have declined this, stating nothing is wrong with what I received and that they will send me the missing items - a useless solution when it will take over a month to arrive meaning it is no longer a part of an "advent calendar" fun. Do not recommend at all.
