Dan Drummey
I was not properly represented in good faith.

I hired Lakeview Law Group over two years ago to consolidate two credit cards. These are the results:1) I WAS SERVED A LAWSUIT BY A CREDITOR TO MY HOME: I paid Lakeview Law Group $582 for over a year at the time of the lawsuit. They told me to quit paying, they would take care of everything and don't answer calls from the creditors. This is what happened.2) MY EXCELLENT CREDIT IS NOW BAD: I have never missed a payment and pay over the minimum on my credit cards. Lakeview Law Group was paid monthly by direct deposit. I was recently denied for a small loan for my business because of Lakeview Law Group. I was told that my credit would go down for a few months, but it is a bad credit rating over two years later.3) I AM PAYING MORE: My debt for one of the creditors is 21k. When I filed a complaint with Lakeview Law Group to the Better Business Bureau after I received the lawsuit, someone actually called to apologize and promised me I would be all paid up in the fall of 2025. I was told that by more than one Lakeview Law Group representative. A few months away from being all paid up I learn that they never had reached an agreement with a remaining creditor, and I would not be paid up in September 2025. I could have paid this debt down on my own in a few years, but this is what I get:The new terms: An additional 14 months increased from $582 to $787 until July 2026.$582 to April 2027.$475 Until April 2029.To recap:For a 21k plus one more debt of $15,522 I have paid Lakeview Law Group:582 for 22 months=$12,804Plus an additional: $787 for 14 months= $11,018$587 for nine months=$5283$475 for 24 months= $11,400$40,505The reps who called me about the last-minute change weren't apologetic at all. It was more like: "This is where we are at, what do you want to do?" I was put on the spot and caved because I need my bad credit restored to back to where it was before I hired Lakeview Law Group. I truly feel I was not represented on my behalf.I reviewed my contract which they never originally provided. It was sent yesterday. I have no recourse for my bad decision to hire Lakeview Law Group. There is language that covers them. I do not like writing these types of reviews, but I don't want anyone to experience what happened to me. I will add that they did a great job on one of the creditors. Things did start off well.
