Complete scam. From beginning to end. I have now had to pay for different servicemen (both gas and electric) to go and re-do the certificates. Which essentially means I have had to pay for the certificates twice (x4). The way that they scam you is to fail the certificate and then you are stuck using their servicemen to fix. I do not advise using at all. There is a payment made to buy the certificates (whether pass or fail) any you have no choice but to go to the original service person to re-do/fix the problem of the failed certificate, who are of course incentivised to cite fail in order to get more money. FYI - You are obligated to get the repairs with Landlord Certificates Ltd as they have the failed certificates - if you do not, you have to pay for the certificates AGAIN (pass or fail) via a separate company. A complete scam. NOTE: I see that they updated reply say that one would not need to repay the contractor to re-test if they do the remedial work. Exactly. THEY HAVE to do the remedial work.
