I recently completed the English Math Entry 3 Level course, and overall, it was a highly enriching and well-structured program. This course is great for non-native English speakers learning math in English or anyone looking to strengthen their mathematical understanding and academic language skills simultaneously. The course effectively combines math instruction with language development, making complex problems more understandable. There was a strong focus on real-life applications, and the course encouraged active participation, which helped build confidence and communication skills. However, some students moved quickly, which disrupted others needing more time. More optional practices or review sections would reinforce learning. Additionally, the assessments were mostly traditional, and incorporating computer-based projects or oral presentations could better reflect understanding. Overall, this course is unique and valuable, especially for bilingual or ESL students, and I would definitely recommend it.
